Cambria countertops are more durable and resistant to surface damage than other natural stones. However, no natural stone is chip proof if damaged by enough force. Objects that hit the edges, particularly near dishwashers and sinks could cause the surface to chip. Even though minor slips of a knife will not damage Cambria, no stone is scratch-proof. Surface markings are less apparent on multi-colored surfaces than on monotone designs.

It is recommended that you use a trivet or a hot pad to prevent excessive from heat transferring to the surface.
