In Walnut Creek, CA, a fresh start came in the form of a sleek and thoughtfully designed bathroom remodel. The transformation included a tub-to-shower conversion, stylish cabinetry, elegant countertops, and upgraded lighting and ventilation, resulting in a space that perfectly balances function and sophistication.
At the heart of this remodel was the conversion of the old bathtub into a spacious and elegant walk-in shower. The new shower base and wall panels were finished in Dekton Rem 0.8CM, a striking material from Cosentino known for its durability and marble-like veining. The aesthetic continues seamlessly with a matching quartz countertop for visual continuity across the space.
The shower is equipped with a Moen Multi-Function Hand Shower and Slide Bar, offering comfort and flexibility, while the Moen Eva T2131BN trim adds a touch of timeless style in a brushed nickel finish. A custom shower door completes the enclosure, giving the bathroom a refined and polished look.
The existing vanity was replaced with a beautifully designed set from the DreamLine Ultimate Acrylic Lujo/AGT cabinetry collection. Finished in Syncron Nocce 1 and featuring slab-style cabinet doors, the new vanity exudes clean lines and warm wood tones. Cabinet pulls (BP80896195 from Richelie) offer a stylish accent, marrying form and function with ease.
Topped with a 2CM Dekton Rem countertop, the vanity seamlessly ties into the shower’s design. Dual sinks and Moen faucets ensure this space is as functional as it is beautiful, perfect for daily routines.
To brighten the space and enhance functionality, two LED can lights were installed, along with a new energy-efficient Panasonic bathroom fan. These upgrades not only improve the bathroom’s ambiance but also its ventilation and efficiency. A new toilet installation rounded out the list of essential improvements.
The new flooring features Emser Citizen Elector Matte 12×24 tiles, chosen for their durability and contemporary look. Grouted in Custom #643 Warm Gray, the tile offers a neutral foundation that complements the room’s tones and textures.
A standout accent in the space is the Elysium Linear Loft 11.75 x 11.75 tile, used for both the backsplash and a shower wall accent bend. Its linear design adds dimension and texture to the room, creating an eye-catching yet cohesive focal point.
